D’Arcy & Everest is a traditionally run specialist Alpine nursery, established some 19 years ago and over that time we have built up a wide range of unusual plants. We propagate and grow all our own plants (most of which are left out throughout the winter) and we are able to give you sound advice on all of the varieties available.

This year my son, Luke Whiting will be joining us at the shows with a view to perhaps taking on this side of the business, which means I will be able to spend more time on the nursery.

We will be doing our RHS events again this year. The  workshops this year are on Growing Vegetables in Containers and raised beds, and being creative with sempervivums.  Please see RHS events in the catalogue.

Due to the way we grow our plants not all will be available at the same time – some of the newer varieties will not be available until later in the year, so if ordering by mail order then please give substitutes.

Over the last few years we have created several gardens for you to enjoy. Because of the numbers of shows we are attending this year have increased, we have limited visits to the gardens, to when we have Open Days and Nursery Events.
